On the 3rd November Yer Nana will be coming to an end. The Hard Rock Café gig in Glasgow will be our last ever show.

We’re all best friends and we don’t see it as splitting up, we’ll still see each other all the time, as we are friends first as well as band mates.

We are proud of what we have become and we are thankful for all the support and help along the way.

We’ve had such an amazing time playing in Yer Nana and we’re keen to go out on the highest of highs. This will be THE LAST opportunity for you to catch us live and we’ll be playing every song we know.

If you can’t make it to our final show we are also playing “Nirvana Unplugged” in full at Edinburgh Hard Rock Café as well as a FREE show on 7th October in Monty’s Rock Bar in Dunfermline.

Big thank you to all the promoters, venues and most importantly the audiences for making the journey one we’ll never forget. It’s been awesome!

“It’s better to burn out than to fade away.”

Yer Nana consists of 3 experienced musicians with a passion for the music of Nirvana.

The musicians in Yer Nana have been playing music together for the last 12 years in various original bands. When the opportunity to play a one off Nirvana show appeared to celebrate the life of Kurt Cobain on the 20th anniversary of his death the boys went for it. The response from the sold out bar was so positive that the band decided to book a few more gigs…… 3 years later and they are still amazing audiences around the country.

DJScreamRockusNot only do the band play all the greats just like you remember but they put on a hell of a showing doing it. Yer Nana are remembered for their high octane, loud and passionate performances. The band don’t shy away from the louder/angrier aspect of Nirvana and are keen to show all the shades of Nirvana’s classic catalogue playing set lists that satisfy the hardcore Nirvana fans as well as the casual listener.

As for the outfits, well that’s not something Yer Nana see as appropriate. The band look nothing like Nirvana, so why pretend? Nirvana were never about the image, or the look, so instead all their attention is put towards creating the sound that Nirvana fans love.Band hug
